VP PERENNA

Perenna is a beautiful looking grey mare with breathtaking movement. She is a real treasure to us. Perenna’s pedigree represents all major highlights in Australian Warmblood history including such legends as Daktylus, Duellschuetz, Gold Song and even Flaneur.

Her sire DALEY K is widely recognised as one of the most successful sires of Australian sport horses. The influential Australian jumping stallion, Daley K, produced a significant number of the World Cup level competitors, including Warlord II who represented Australia at the World Cup Jumping Final in Las Vegas in 2007 (Gavin ChesteI), Nero GHP (Olivia Hamood), SL Limerick (Tom McDermott), and Cool K (Jamie Grant). Daley K is the grandsire to Penrose (Ally Lamb) and Caltango (Tim Clarke).  He also sired Splash II, a top level dressage horse ridden and trained by Viv Axton, and Pluto Mio, a top level eventing horse, competed by Olympic gold medallist Stuart Tinney.

Perenna has a lovely personality and a very calm temperament, which she gives to her progenies together with amazing conformation and movement. Very soon she will be retired, so it is highly advisable for those who are looking for a future top level “jumping machine” or stunning dressage prospect, to apply for Perenna’s foal now.

BLACKALL PARK VERONICA

This black mare is another asset to our stud. She is by famous trakehner Trak (imp) and out of the Daley K mare VP Perenna. Veronica possesses lovely solid conformation, beautiful movement and absolutely amazing temperament – quiet but bright, which are inherited from both Trak and Perenna. Trak was named THM Jumping Stallion of the Year in 2006. His progenies are known for their ability to jump on a very good level. A combination of Daley K and Trak bloodlines make this mare a very promising dam for show jumpers.
